Ira Stalnaker Dead At Vancouver
Ira H. Stalnaker, former resident of Clarkston and Asotin, died yesterday at Clark County Hospital at Vancouver, Wash.
Stalnaker lived at Clarkston from 1929 to 1939 and then at Asotin until 1948. He had made his home at Vancouver in recent years.
He was married at Southwick, July 31, 1910. His wife, Lola, died at Vancouver, Nov. 22, 1955.
Surviving are two sons, Wilbur A., Vancouver, and Fairley, in California. The body will be brought to the Merchant Funeral Home here for the funeral and burial.

Funeral Conducted For Ira Stalnaker
The funeral for Ira H. Stalnaker, who helped build the Camas Prarie Railroad, was held yesterday at Merchant Chapel, with the Rev. James Dougherty of the First Church of God Officiating. Music was by Mrs. Adeline Pucket.
Pallbearers were Joseph Wojciehowski, Fred Whitinger, Charles Price and Tye Hutchens, all of Clarkston; Louis Hewett, Lewiston; and Earl Hewett, Clarkston. Burial was at Vineland Cemetery, with the Orofino Odd Fellows Lodge in charge. Mr. Stalnaker died Thursday at Vancouver, Wash.
Among those here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Stalnaker, Ridgfield, Wash., and Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Choate, Malden, Wash. Ray Stalnaker is a grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ira H. Stalnaker and was raised by them in Asotin County.
